SMALL SPACES made easy! Are you feeling left behind by the “grow-your-own” revolution because you live in a gardenless apartment or have a postage-stamp-sized patio? Don’t worry: Anyone with a sunny windowsill, patio, or balcony can cultivate home-grown vegetables. In fact, choosing plants that are nutritious, delicious, and attractive is the ultimate way to maximise limited space. We’ve tried and tested these varieties suitable for small spaces and know they’ll succeed, but that’s not to say there aren’t other vegetable seeds that you could try!

Sow direct into a quality, moist, gently firmed compost in a container approximately 30-40cm (12-16") in size, or alternatively in a raised bed or garden. Space seeds at around 15cm (6") and cover with 5cm (2") of compost/soil. Germination 7-21 days. Grows best in a sunny, sheltered site. Surround plants with short canes for support if necessary. Grow for summer cropping, or autumn in mild areas. Make successional sowings for continuous crops. Sowing to Cropping: 12 weeks.
Ideal for smal spaces - pots and baskets, windowsills, raised beds and containers.
